In short
The idea
Conversation cards are questions written to be asked out loud. They give a group a reason to talk about something other than work and the weather, and they give quieter people a turn. A conversation card app puts many decks in one place, so you don’t need a different box for date night, a team offsite and a family dinner.
Kumustahan was made in the Philippines, which is why every card also has a Filipino version and why the questions feel warm rather than clinical. But the cards were written for people, not for one country: food you can’t say no to, a place that stayed with you, the friend who noticed something in you first. They work at any table.
It works offline and needs no account. 420 cards are free for good across all 7 decks; Premium adds 780 more.

Tips
- Start with three or four light cards before you open up.
- Mix Icebreakers with Getting to know for a group that half-knows each other.
- Use one phone, passed around; everyone else’s stays face down.
- Read the back of the card out loud after an answer. It often starts the next conversation.

How it works
- Pick your decks. Getting to know, Just for fun, Reflect, Lifegroup & Faith, Couples, Barkada (friends) and Icebreakers. Mix as many as you like.
- Choose how deep tonight goes. Keep it light, Open up, or Go deeper. The app only deals cards that fit.
- Draw, answer, flip. One person answers while the others listen, then flip the card for a short reflection.
- Pass the phone. Anyone can pass a card. Favorites and notes save the ones worth keeping.
Do I need to speak Tagalog?
No. Set the cards to English and play the whole night in English. The Filipino side is a bonus: Filipino friends can read it, Filipino families abroad can share it with their kids, and anyone curious about the language can flip between the two. See learning Tagalog with conversation cards.
