How to use them
Before you ask
Pillow talk is the conversation that happens after the phones go down and the lights go off. Nobody is performing, the day is over, and people say things they wouldn’t say across a dinner table. The right questions for that half hour are cozy and small: easy to answer with your eyes closed, warm enough to fall asleep on.
Start silly while you’re both still awake, like the eternal fight over the fan or aircon setting. Then set the day down: what went okay, what can wait until tomorrow. If one of you is still talking, ask about the two of you, a recent laugh or a moment you felt close. Keep the hope questions for when you’re drifting off.
This isn’t the time for problems. If something serious comes up, agree to talk about it tomorrow in daylight. Nothing here is explicit, and you can pass any card, or fall asleep mid-answer, which counts. Most couples cards are from the Couples deck; there are more in the Couples Edition. Every card also has a Tagalog version.
Good for
Tips
- One or two questions is plenty. It’s bedtime, not a quiz.
- Read the card, then put the phone face down and the screen away.
- Keep heavy topics for tomorrow; agree to it and let it rest.
- Whisper the silly ones. They get funnier.
- If they fall asleep mid-answer, let them. Ask again another night.

Pillow talk questions
Frequently asked questions
What are good pillow talk questions?
Cozy, small ones: a moment this week you felt close, something you laughed about lately, one thing that can wait until tomorrow, or a silly argument like the right fan setting. They should be easy to answer in the dark.
What should I ask my partner before bed?
Ask what went okay today, what helps them settle after a long day, and what they’re quietly hoping for. Keep it light and warm, and save serious topics for the daytime.
Is pillow talk always romantic or sexual?
No. Pillow talk just means the relaxed, close conversation couples have in bed before sleep. These questions are cozy and non-explicit, about your day and the two of you.
Can we play these in the app at night?
Yes. In Kumustahan, pick the Couples deck, choose Keep it light, and take turns. Every card works offline and in English or Tagalog.
