How to use them
Before you ask
Talking to a crush is hard mostly because you’re trying to be interesting and casual at the same time. The trick is to stop trying to impress them and get curious instead. Light, specific questions do that. They’re easy to answer, they make people laugh, and they give you something to remember about the person, which is the whole point.
Open with something playful, the kind of question that works as a first message or in the five minutes before class or a meeting starts. If they answer with more than a word, ask about the small stuff: the drink that makes their day, the hobby they’d go back to. Funny mishap stories are next; people warm up to whoever they told a slightly embarrassing story to.
Keep it light. Nothing about exes, nothing that sounds like a compatibility test, and no deep questions before they’ve chosen to go there. Answer the questions yourself too. And if it works out, the Couples Edition is waiting for later. Every card here also has a Tagalog version.
Good for
Tips
- Ask one question, then actually listen. A follow-up beats a new topic.
- Remember one small answer and bring it up another day.
- Share your own answer so it feels like a swap, not an interview.
- Keep it light; skip exes and anything that sounds like a test.
- Over chat, one good question beats three in a row.

Frequently asked questions
What are good questions to ask your crush?
Playful, easy ones: a silly rule they’d make the world follow, a useless invention they’d buy anyway, the drink that makes an ordinary day feel special. Then ask about something they’re looking forward to.
How do I start a conversation with my crush?
Start with something small you both share, like a class, a show or the place you are, then ask one light, playful question. Keep it short and let them answer before you add more.
What should I text my crush to keep the conversation going?
Ask about a detail they mentioned before, or send one fun question that takes a story to answer, like a harmless mishap that’s funny now. Questions with a story behind them keep chats alive longer than yes-or-no ones.
Are there questions to ask your crush in Tagalog?
Yes. Every question here has a Filipino/Tagalog version too, and there’s a Tagalog page of crush questions with its own picks.
