Kumustahan is a bilingual conversation card app: 1,200 questions in English and Filipino across 7 decks, with a short reflection on the back of every card.
After a busy or tiring season, how can people tell that you’ve actually rested?
After ng busy o nakakapagod na season, paano malalaman ng mga tao na nakapagpahinga ka talaga?
Real rest often shows up quietly: more patience, more jokes, clearer thoughts, or simply a softer face.
Madalas tahimik lang makita ang tunay na pahinga: mas mahaba ang pasensya, mas may jokes, mas malinaw mag-isip, o mas maaliwalas lang.

How to use them
Before you ask
A good staycation starts with one question: what would make these days feel different from a normal week at home? Without it, the days off fill up with laundry and errands.
Staying home has an obvious trap. The house is full of reminders of everything you should be doing. Asking each other at the start what you’d like to explore nearby, which event you’d go to if the ticket were free and what kind of rest you actually need gives the days a shape that isn’t a to-do list.
Ask the planning cards on the first morning, the rest cards on any slow afternoon and the last group on the final evening. That last conversation helps you carry one or two good habits back into the regular week.

Tips
- Agree on a no-chores rule for at least part of every day.
- Pick one “tourist in your own town” outing.
- Let each person choose one thing the group does.
- Treat rest as part of the plan, not what happens when plans fall through.
- On the last night, pick one habit from the break to keep.
